This is Strathearn's Sea Urchin paperweight. Strathearn's description reads.."Rough texture sea urchin appearance" however, it is comprised of twenty vertical rows of Scottish sand over an internal colored cushion. Colors stated are only Red and Green but I have found other colors as shown in the two albums listed. Sizes range from Large to Medium/small and there may be a minature size but I've not found one yet. Yearly production is unknown at this time. Circa for the time being 1965 to 1979.
