These are Strathearn's Minature Carpet Millefiori Closepack weights. They range in size from about 1.5" to just over 2.0" and can have from 35 to about 60 canes. The grounds are always colored carpet grounds and I've never seen them any other way. They were produced from 1965 to at least 1979 and perhaps into 1980. They were designated as P16 weights and extended to a PP16 Portrait series in which each weight had a top facet and a side facet. I don't know if this minature closepack was extended to the PSF162 series, at least I have not yet seen any.
