This Strathearn EIIR Millefiori Crown weight is not dated, however, its date of 1952-1977 tells us is was made specifically for the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee in 1977. The edition size was supposed to be 1000 but due to difficulties at the factory it was limited to only 250. Each weight is faceted on the top and one side for standing on edge. On this edge facet it is etch signed "Strathearn and the #" for this weight. Mine as shown is #94 of this edition. Each came in a blue silk lined box and included was a certificate of authentication signed by Alistair Gordon the engraver and Angus Sillars Managing Director.
