Here we have an example of a Vasart minature star weight circa 1956/59 to 1964 and these were most likely the forerunner to the Strathearn star weights. Since it is quite likely that Strathearn modeled their star weights after the Vasart versions I have used the Strathearn designations of P11 large, P12 medium/small and P13 minature for their star weights to relate back to the Vasart weights as VP11, VP12 and VP13. To date I have not seen any star shaped weights made in the Ysart/Vasart period of 1946 to 1956/59 and it is possible that they never made any.
