These are Ysart/Vasart and Vasart large paperweights from the 1946 to 1964 period. I have designated the weights from the earlier Ysart Bros Glass (Vasart) as YVP7 weights (similiar to Strathearn P7 large weights) circa 1946 to 1956/59 and for the later Vasarts as VP7 weights circa 1956/59 to 1964. I have them listed in the photos below showing what I believe are the weights from the YVP period first and then blending into the VP period weights. As with the Strathearn P7 weights these YVP7 and VP7 weights range in size from 2.70" to over 3.0". I don't have much information on these paperweights and there is not a lot of information anywhere on these period weights but as with all of the paperweights made from 1946 to 1964 they were not a primary production item. At this time I do not have any idea of how many were made yearly or in total but if and when I ever find any information it will be posted here.
