These are paperweight hardware items made by the Ysart/Vasart Bros and Vasart glassworks from around 1946 to 1956/59 for Ysart/Vasart (YVP) and 1956 to 1964 for Vasart (VP). I have these shown in what I believe is the YVP items first and then the later VP items. Some of these hardware items are gear shift knobs, drawer pulls and letter openers. Vasart VP letter opener using a standard VP9 minature three row concentric weight as the knob handle set on a yellow ground, overall length 7 1/8" x 1.6" diameter of pwt x 1.2" height of pwt and 4.0 ozs. No label. Base of pwt is fire-polished smooth, circa 9156/59 to 1964. acquired 01-03-05.
